Through-out the world, different shoe size systems are applied. In some countries these system even vary per type of shoe (gents-, ladies-, sports shoes, etc.)

In determining the size of the shoe, the length of the foot is very important. Usually the length of the foot is determined by the distance between the end of the heel to the front of the longest toe. The measurement is determined whilst standing on bare feet. In this way, the body mass is distributed naturally to both feet.

Mostly , the size of the left- and right foot differs. To come to the right shoe size, one muse measure both feet. The biggest foot forms the basic assumption to choose the right shoe. The MySole™ insole provides the solution in case of differing feet.

The in-size of the shoe has to be 15-20 mm longer than the foot. How much extra-length is needed, depends of the type of shoe. For example, a walking shoe demands more extra-length than a soccer-shoe. Your MySole™ specialist can advise you in making the right choice!
